Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God; defend me from them that rise up against me.
For the Chief Musician; set to Al-tashheth. A Psalm of David. Michtam; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him. Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: Set me on high from them that rise up against me.
To the Chief Musician; set to [the tune of] “Do Not Destroy.” A Mikhtam of David, [a record of memorable thoughts] when Saul sent men to watch his house in order to kill him. Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; Set me securely on an inaccessibly high place away from those who rise up against me.
Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; defend and protect me from those who rise up against me.

Oh, my God, deliver me from my enemies; put me out of reach from those who rise up against me.

This is for the music leader, and he should use special music. David wrote this prayer when King Saul sent men to catch David at his house and murder him. My God, please save me from my enemies! They are attacking me, so please keep me safe from them.
Deliver me from my enemies, my God. You set me high above those who rise up against me.
