Psalm 59:1
Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God; defend me from them that rise up against me.
For the Chief Musician; set to Al-tashheth. A Psalm of David. Michtam; when Saul sent, and they watched the house to kill him. Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: Set me on high from them that rise up against me.
To the Chief Musician; set to [the tune of] “Do Not Destroy.” A Mikhtam of David, [a record of memorable thoughts] when Saul sent men to watch his house in order to kill him. Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; Set me securely on an inaccessibly high place away from those who rise up against me.
Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; defend and protect me from those who rise up against me.

Oh, my God, deliver me from my enemies; put me out of reach from those who rise up against me.
For the leader. Set to “Do Not Destroy.” By David; a mikhtam, when Sha’ul sent men to keep watch on David’s house in order to kill him:

To the director: To the tune “Don’t Destroy.” A miktam of David written when Saul sent people to watch David’s house to try to kill him. God, save me from my enemies. Protect me from those who stand against me.
This is for the music leader, and he should use special music. David wrote this prayer when King Saul sent men to catch David at his house and murder him. My God, please save me from my enemies! They are attacking me, so please keep me safe from them.
Deliver me from my enemies, my God. You set me high above those who rise up against me.

1 David being in great danger of Saul, who sent to slay him in his bed, prayeth unto God, 3 Declaring his innocency, and their fury, 5 Desiring God to destroy all those that sin of malicious wickedness. 11 Whom though he keep alive for a time to exercise his people, yet in the end he will consume them in his wrath, 13 That he may be known to be the God of Jacob to the end of the world. 16 For this he singeth praises to God assured of his mercies. My God! Rescue me from my enemies, defend me from these mutineers. Rescue me from their dirty tricks, save me from their hit men.
